errr i wonder why wilson says dance session is till 3.30 only cause i think it's suppose to end at 4.30. anyway bring your faculty shirts tomorrow.

for street market! errr... okay basically i think most people would want to help out with the making of the cookies and jellies.

i don't think anyone would have an oven.. (but microwave ovens should do as well right..?) i was thinking we could split up the people interested into 2-3 groups, going to 2-3 houses to make cookies and jellies. we'll have to do this a few days before CNY, so i would assume that we'll have to make it on the 14th. or 15th. >< poor dates they are but errr. i don't think we have much of a choice unless we want to sell not so fresh stuff.

(personally i want to learn to make cookies :D)

hey peeps.

i discussed the matter with my tutor earlier today, and things really look positive. But first she mentioned if she's really gonna take everyone in we will all be split up into smaller groups(assuming we have 12 peeps interested, then we'll be split up into 6-6 classes); one given reason is that a class too big would deprive its students from the chance of voicing out his or her views and doubts, and with that optimal learning would be very much difficult.

from what i've observed and been told, we have at least two very distinct options.

• enrolling for lessons under wilson's friend, who supposedly is able to teach both h2 physics and math; estimated to be around 280$ per month in fees; and the lessons are to be held in a rented room in hougang, which is prior to some changes. it has been mentioned by wilson that the lesson venue might be changed to somewhere in orchard in the near future, if all goes well; but with that the issue of cost would be needed to be taken into consideration.

okay the senior treat junior will be on this Saturday, 27 jan. we'll be eating at swensens at dhoby ghaut.

the meeting time will be 6pm at dhoby ghaut mrt. please meet at the northeastline exit because we'll be heading to plaza sing for swensens.

so far only jin huey and michelle cannot turn up, and jian nan is not sure. i do hope that all of you will turn up. =)

- the theme is 庆 (no taboo intepretations allowed? dun ask me i refering to the circulars -.-)
- a 0.9 by 2m RED cloth WILL be provided
- Paint may be purchased from council
- Schedule of when we can paint at the ampitheatre is with me
- Enamel paint is NOT allowed
- $15 will be collected ($5 will be returned if Amphitheatre is kept clean)

2) Lantern Making Competition

- ONE lantern made of hongbao to be HAND-MADE
- May NOT pre-manufactured
- Shd be about 50cm by 50cm by 50cm in size

for either competition, there are fac points up for grabs..
20 points for champion
10 points for 2nd
5 points for 3rd

this goes out to every1 who expressed interest in the private tuition class:

1) the tutor i contacted is only able to teach h2 maths and chem (he can get a frd to teach us phy if required)

2) he will be able to "rent" a classroom in orchard when the centre's renovations are complete but at the moment, he can only rent a class in Hougang mall -.- (still interested?)

3) i'll be able to bargain a gd price with this guy (cuz my gd frd xD)

4) lennerd is gna contact another tutor to compare (venue, cost, everything la)

5) any1 wanna try contacting other tutors to compare etc feel free to do so but do keep the rest of us updated

okay if my memory doesn't fail me.. we have faculty dance practice again next tuesday.. ie 23rd jan! 2.15pm-3.45pm.

i know some of you errr don't really like dance but! make this a class effort yea? plus with such a nice dance (and nice dance ics), surely artemis deserves to win the cny fac dance competition! yup. so i hope all of you will bring your fac tees this coming tuesday and practice the dance so we don't destroy the dance on cny. xD

that aside... can someone spread the main blog account (so we can edit template or other stuff anytime we want). ^^

EDIT: clearly i forgot to mention something else just now. okay basically we need to decide on a date for JTS (junior treat senior). our seniors have already decided theirs on the 27th of jan. 3th of feb MAY be a killer for some of us seeing how dramafeste would be nearing.. would 10th feb be fine with you all? 17th feb is cny eve and 24th is quite late liao la. yupp so would everyone be fine with 10th feb? =D or 11th you all prefer sundays.

Good! I put up a good show ><.. The first week of school and I validated the theory: “I’m born smart, education ruined me.” OUCH. That's for my case, however, our class seemed generally happy with the education that we’re receiving ^^.. lectures were not bad.. some kind teachers gave us 5 min in-between breaks, this is the first week so errm… the content that we learn aint tt cheem yet.. [that was what I heard.] and cos it's the 1st week, teachers used first lessons to set their dos & don'ts. so far all seemed alright, we might be able to survive after all ^^… cca trails [trails…. You mean trials?] orientation is keeping our afternoons occupied.. lesser class outings I suppose? ><.. but we still go for lunch as 1 HUGE group.

Haha~ so far I’ve not seen any class go for canteen break with full attendance =x.. we rock ~ heh heh!

[LOL someone forgot to add more indepth explanation of some interesting teachers ay…. Oh hi now its Zk’s turn to crash JN’s post…. Ha. As usual, maths was interesting (I suppose?) but we got the same tutor as our lecturer… Hooray? On Thursday she tried to tell a lame joke during lecture but lets just say, its pretty cliché for some of us… Especially the 365 days one aka why students fail their tests… Maybe we can have one section dedicated to all the lame jokes and stuff?]

Seniors were really good to us.. they lend us studying material to kill time when we’re bored… and sometimes even invite us to join their study group at the class benches! Heeeeeeee.. cheers for seniors~ *wink~*. Regular chapteh sections [sections your head la….sessions you mean?] were still on, we tried pepsi cola 123 today too! (I’m newbie. Got pwned pretty bad)..

[And hopscotch too!!! Apparently the same person I have been mentioning in my writing did not play this simple game that dominated our lives when we were 7… Nvm, 17 is not late too….]

well~ what can I say. We’re simply full of energy ^^.. yayness. Tried to rent a locker but so far I’ve not heard from the one in charge how we can do such.. thus we still don't haf a class ball ^^.. we’ll haf 1! Ideally 1 bball and 1 soccer over here.. for we’ve got nearly the same no. of ppl interested in either sport, and the rest favour studying in a group or chapteh.. BRIGHT FUTURE AHEAD~~! Btw we’re sad to lose Michelle.. joshua is especially sad cos he’s the sole art guy around now.. sigh~ but then again, we’re happy that andy came over. Interesting person indeed, surely he’ll be influenced by us eventually~ and haha~ be hyper! HIGH!

hate to talk about ppl changing class.. I’m so afraid to lose anyone.. - ->>.. can march please don't come? ><.. let the time pause for a moment yeah?.. hehe.. *goes off daydreaming* Oh yeah, the group study section this week was engaging [the section that lasted 1.5 hrs that's supposed to be GP]. We united in chains and braved obstacles and cheered as 1 when we finished the work given to us. ^^.. den we took pictures for class video, froze our moment in time and look back when ever we think of 67 !!!! yay~. Mean while we gathered in groups again to study our extra curricular materials[LOLZ]… yes we luv it! ><
Hmm.. prat [prat…. U mean prac?]. Lessons are rather OKAY. With our teachers teaching us BASICS of science lab rules.. it's kinda boring.. I mean.. c’mon.. we’ve dealt with this s*** for 4 whole years.. we knowwhat to do =x [But somehow someone sitting behind me that day was friggin lost… ha].. but what is really good is the 2 hr span, we’ve got sufficient time for our experiments and our tutors are great!. Ms bobillier was caring and thoughtful, who let us off early for lunch [we didn't get a break for the whole day cos the library tour was slotted in then.. sigh.. she’s our angel ^^~!] and Mr Tan was a member of IBM!.. [fyi : international brotherhood of magicians!]. he is a MARVELLOUS person too~!. Our GP teacher is a fun person, she responds to our class’ hyperness.. yay! She shlda be born 10 or 20 [wakakaka]years later so we can make a more complete 67! Hehex~ [Nvm Zihigh club requires a teacher advisor too… Lets make it a cca? Okay im getting high]

[personally I didnt have a good day.. - -. I woke up with a sick body, sour throat[sour ah], checked that darn angel mortal box and realized both my angel and my mortal are still daoing me… sobs. Till lunch time of which I choked on a hidden sharp chicken bone fragment of which stucked there.. = =.. ji scary can.. afternoon tried to play bball and it rained just a few mins after I started.. sigh~ bad day bad day~.. so here I am! Writing the class blog and hopefully gain some karma.. hehex~ ]

thatz the rough idea, well~ for a first day i guess we more or less had fun, thou some of us failed to mingle much, nth bad happened! [nth bad happened doesn apply to chapteh].

^^^^ All the crap above were by Dino... Since he is too busy trying to get his fossilated comp to listen to him, zk shall continue from here.... Ha the nicknames are not exactly assigned on tat day since it was more or less assigned already.... Lets just say we did enhancement of the nicks. (st nick's? -.- Okay tats random)

So our senior class thinks we are hyper... Which we are... Ha. But they are hyper too ay... okay maybe not as us, cos WE ROCKz. (ego....) Since im slack, i decide tat i shld just lump everything into one post? Second day, we went amazing race, which was pretty, erm... amazing? Im not sure but somehow, my group had only 4 guys.... (The traitor please own up lol.) [Jn cuts in: lolx.. zk u suk.. “the traitor”? ur soppose to haf 6 guyz rmbr?] So we went turf city, looked for stickers, went 6th avenue to play some charade game, found pck's house, went kap for ice cream(yum yum for zhihong?). Apparently, the other grp was much more hyper than us. I think they only spent 90cents on bus fare cos they were running to every place.... So they reached back school dam early and played chapteh.... so i guess the whole class more or less knows how to kick the chapteh with erm perhaps the exception of one.... (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE....lol) [jn: who? Anw, thy hyperness didn get to our councilor, she was like.. dragging behind.. “u guyz slow down lehx” or smt lyk tt ^^ so we kinda earned ourselves near 3 hr break.. yeppz.. lotsa chapteh playing, boss tried his best to bringup us younglings, and he did see many talents in our class. TOTALLY AWSOME]

Then we prepared class item...More on that later on. Artemis fac dance is totally cool but the learning process is not cool. We have not even finished half of the dance yet.... Ha. Third day, wargames. Erm, yay? it must have been a great sight for allisen(typo?) seeing Green Blue and to a smaller extent, red, running towards yellow after the start must have been spectacular.... As my ogl said, he predicted apollo would have lost by a lot or won by alot.... ha. Then everyone bathed and ate lunch and went for dance session.... Cant remember correctly... Ha. Ok basically its just the lame stuff lorz. [jn: yeppz. Wargames is esp fun. When the fac. Head goes, 3,2,1 chiong arhx~!!
And u see whole huge patch of blue jumping over double barrier reaching yellow together wif green.. (yes red is slacking)..the offense was really fun.. ran to the human wall and swing the bomb and stuff.. (itz dangerous infront of human wall.. gurls in yellow fend u off wif extreme high pitched sound and claws..*tremble upon memory*) though we’re the furtherest frm yellow (haf to cross two benches.. - -) our ammo ran out earlier than any other fac.. (yes.. we’re damn hiong) wif out ammo = helpless defenders of the goddess. Thought we’d win.. sadly didn .T. T]

Fourth day, ostrich got saboed as big boss. his first mission, right jerk left jerk on stage. Absolutely hilarious. [jn: understatement. We all had such a good lauf. Boss, u rock!]
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... Well then the lectures were friggin boring.... the Maths teacher is GREAt..... 1275/2 by “long division”.... AFterwards we started painting class flag. Yea, STARTED. Ha But we finished quite fast, thanks to the AEPers in our class.... then we prepared class item, again, at blazing speed. HA.

Fifth day was okay.... we had introductory lectures again and stoned for bout 3 hours after tat and didnt hearse our class item... Wilson said cannot rehearse since we haven hearse yet.... So obviously lame idea from a lame class gets a lame response from a lame audience. [jn:I thought all stoned?] Lol But it was pretty cool. it was largely impromptu... Then obviously we didnt get selected to represent the fac, which was our aim all along... Erm. Then we went to eat dinner... [jn:dinner rox. 2gether wif njc pplz and some RED guyz] Then erm we were late [ jn:yeppz.. I was bleeding blue, the dye dehydrated my hair too.. ouch]. It was raining so we had campfire inside. The campfire was dam cool. Red paper stuck to wood and then blowed by a fan from below. got spotlight somemore... so much atmosphere... Then since we were late we headed to sit randomly. So obviously when ares presented their item, we realised tat we were in the wrong camp... So we quickly retreated. Lol Okay tats all for now.... [jn: man. - - what a finish. What happened was we cheered our lungs out for artemis related stuff.. (bb voice~~) and den had this mass song & dance section.. the song section was kinda nice cos we all enclosed a circle wif seniors and do stupid stuff 2gether wif the rhythm (who the hell knows the lyrix man - -) some groups are doing chu chu train in between circles.. fun~ ^^! We all got quite high from the songs.. the dance was not impressive thou.. was a mess.. but itz still fun to play along ^^.. den we went down to watch the burning of the TURBO CHARGED thingy.. real cool.. u can feel the heat across ur face when it burns.. ><.. real~ cool~.. there after we took some fotos, senior led us to roti prata shop to haf supper wif seniors’ seniors.. the journey took us real long, stupid jam.. - -.. bt itz alrite~ we did enjoy the supper wif seniors, I got to know my mortal’s name.. (yeah.. I happen to lose the slip of paper and onli rmbred the first two alphabet of the name ^^ oops). We went off @ arnd 12. yeppz.. 0am.. thatz the end of our blessed orientation life.. HELLO REALSCHOOL! I’m not really looking forward to mugging, but I am looking forward to school life wif 67. yes I do!]
